Baltivist Bells Fall 2019

Thank you for reading the first Baltivist Bells post! Baltivist Bells will be about two things:

  1. Easy, yet effective political actions
  2. Timely and digestable updates

For the first Baltic Bells action, we want to ask an important question.

What do Estonia, Latvia, or Lithuania mean to you?

How is this effective? Select stories will be shared in person with Congress during the November 8th, Advocacy Day. Congress wants to hear why issues matter to them so they can properly represent their constituents. By handing in your stories to Congress, they will be more open to supporting the Baltics.

Stories will also be shared with the community on social media, here on Baltivist.com, and with other Baltivist Bells subscribers.

Recent Updates:

  • November 8th is Baltic Advocacy Day in Washington, D.C. Sign up here!

  • November 13th, there will be a screening of the film, Ashes In the Snow on Capitol Hill. Rep. Shimkus, current co-chair of the House Baltic Caucus, said he will use this as a chance to find a Republican successor to the House Baltic Caucus after his retirement in 2020.
